We are pleased to announce that we now offer Canine Platelet Enhancement Therapy (C-PET) for dogs with osteoarthritis.
This is a new therapy, performed using the pet’s own blood, and it has been shown in studies to significantly reduce pain and improve lameness.
The C-PET process is simple: the dog is given light sedation, a small amount of blood is drawn, the blood is filtered and the concentrated platelets are collected, and then the platelets are injected into the affected joint(s).
We are very excited about the possibilities of this new therapy for our osteoarthritis patients!
