Alexandra Verrastro

Alex attended George Washington University on a Presidential Arts Scholarship for Flute and Piccolo. She currently is a student at Medaille College attending the A.S./B.S. Veterinary Technology program. She successfully completed the associate program and is a licensed veterinary technician. Alex is considering applying to Veterinary School after finishing her undergraduate degree.

Alex is a  wonderfully valuable assistant because her knowledge of dogs is so advanced. Her interests include ethical dog breeding, the science of theriogenology (animal reproduction), animal behavior and nutrition. Alex owns two Flat-Coated Retrievers and participates in dog shows with her male dog, Loki. She has been a member of the Flat-Coated Retriever Society since 2008.

Alex likes to knit, crochet, bike and cuddle with with her dogs Loki and Rori and kitty Zina. She also maintains her own website as well one for her dogs’ breeder. Alex hopes to start agility and field training with her dogs.
