Nu.Q Vet Cancer Screening Test

We are thrilled to be offering the Nu.Q Vet Cancer Screening test! Up to 50% of all dogs over age 10 will develop cancer in their lifetimes, and cancer is the most common cause of death in dogs over the age of 2 years in the United States.

Early detection and treatment can extend or even save a pet’s life. We may recommend this test as part of your older dog’s routine screening bloodwork, and it may also be recommended for younger dogs of breeds more prone to cancers like Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Beagles, Bernese Mountain Dogs, West Highland White Terriers, and Shetland Sheepdogs.

This simple and inexpensive test is performed on an outpatient blood sample. Please call us if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule your dog for a test!
